This site is for information and for asking us to do work. Any search, abstract or runsheet we do for you is governed by a written engagement letter or services agreement, and that document controls over anything on this site.
Using the site
By using parish.land or sending us information through it, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What the site is and isn't
- Not legal advice. Our Landmen LLC works as independent landmen. We are not attorneys, we don't give title opinions, and sending us a form doesn't create an attorney-client relationship or any other duty.
- The prescription check is a first read. It works from the one set of dates you enter. Prescription on a real tract turns on the recorded acts, unit orders and well files, and on your examiner's reading of them.
- The plant isn't searchable yet. We describe the abstract plant we are building. No parish is online until we say so on this site.
- Illustrations are illustrations. The parish map and the sample tract page show the kinds of records we work with. They are not real tracts or real records.
Acceptable use
Use the site for lawful purposes. Don't:
- scrape or harvest its content with automated tools;
- send false, misleading or spam submissions;
- probe, attack or try to get around the site's security or rate limits;
- pretend to be someone you're not.
Our content
The text, drawings, calculator and marks on this site belong to Our Landmen LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Statutes and code articles quoted or cited are public law.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Our Landmen LLC and its members, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, special, punitive or consequential damages from your use of, or reliance on, this site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
