The short version: we collect what you type into our forms so we can answer you, and we don't sell it or hand it to advertisers.

What we collect
What you send us
The parish search request asks for the parish, the tract, what you need, how far back, your role, your name, email, and optionally your phone, company and notes. The coverage list asks for your email, the parishes you work and, optionally, your role. We keep what you submit.
What the prescription check does
The prescription check runs in your browser. The dates and tract you type into it are not sent to us unless you copy them into a search request.
Server logs
Like any web host, ours records the IP address, browser, page requested, status code and time of each request. We use those logs to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
How we use it
- To answer your search request and scope the work.
- To tell you when a parish on your coverage list goes online.
- To keep the site secure and free of spam.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We don't sell it
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to data brokers, advertisers or lead resellers.
Who handles it for us
- Google Cloud and Firebase host the site and store form submissions in the United States. They encrypt data in transit and at rest.
- Our email provider carries the messages we send you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, have it deleted, or tell us to stop using it. Email hello@parish.land with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We answer within the time the law allows and don't charge for it.
How long we keep it
We keep an inquiry while we're working with you and afterward for as long as our accounting and record-keeping duties require. Coverage list entries stay until you ask to be taken off or the list is retired.
