What we collect
What you send us
The parish search request asks for the parish, the tract, what you need, how far back, your role, your name, email, and optionally your phone, company and notes. The coverage list asks for your email, the parishes you work and, optionally, your role. We keep what you submit. Submissions from this site go into one shared store with the other sites Our Landmen LLC runs, and each one is marked with the site it came from.
What the prescription check does
The prescription check runs in your browser. The dates and tract you type into it are not sent to us unless you copy them into a search request.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Server logs
Like any web host, ours records the IP address, browser, page requested, status code and time of each request. We use those logs to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
How we use it
- To answer your search request and scope the work.
- To tell you when a parish on your coverage list goes online.
- To keep the site secure and free of spam.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We don't sell it
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to data brokers, advertisers or lead resellers.
Who handles it for us
- Google Cloud and Firebase host the site and store form submissions in Google Firestore in the United States. They encrypt data in transit and at rest.
- The people at Our Landmen LLC who answer requests read what you send.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, get a copy, have it corrected, have it deleted, or tell us to stop using it. Email hello@parish.land with "Privacy request" in the subject line, or call (307) 263-8515.
How long we keep it
You can ask us to delete what you sent, or to take you off the coverage list, at any time. Use the contact details below.
